Colt Builders Inc. was founded in 2015 by Lonnie Cruz in Des Moines, New Mexico. Mr. Cruz has 20 years of construction experience, working as a carpenter, foreman, and superintendent on a wide range of projects, big and small. Mr. Cruz has received glowing reviews from his collection of work on federal projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, GSA Public Building Service, Air Force Research Labs, National Park Service, as well as Kirtland, Cannon, and Tinker Air Force bases, Fort Carson, and the U.S. Forest Service. Colt Builders Inc. works throughout the southwestern and western United States, and is known for its high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Lonnie Cruz - President

Mr. Cruz has been in the construction industry for over 20 years. He has extensive experience as a project superintendent, and worked with Weil Construction for over 15 years before starting Colt Builders Inc. in 2015. Specifically, Mr. Cruz has vast experience in planning & specifications, shop drawings, and sub-trades scope of work, and is especially proficient in pre-planning of subcontractors, materials, look-ahead scheduling, and cost control.
